Cantillon Mamouche

After raving about Cantillon Zwanze 2009, I am pleased to learn that Cantillon has decided to brew this elderflower lambic again as a regular offering under the name “Mamouche.” Cantillon writes that the name “Mamouche” is “in honour of our mother, Claude Cantillon. As a matter of fact, this is the name which is given to her by her grand-children.” The label reads: Elderflowers, handpicked by the Cantillon team and soaked in two years old Lambic. Beer with evolving flavour. Keep and serve at cellar temperature. To be drunk preferably within ten years after the bottling date. Unlike the limited release Zwanze 2009, this beer is expected to be available in the United States as well.
