Amforen (dutch for amphorae) is a blog about lambic, pure wines, Loire cabernet franc, and experiments in botanical cocktails. The author (Aschwin de Wolf) promotes spontaneous fermentation and the relentless pursuit of terroir. As a native Dutch speaker, I also have a strong interest in historical Flemish documents about traditional lambic brewing and culture. This blog is a continuation of the Lambic and Wild ale blog.
